Nice tyres, can’t see the wheels too well, what size did you go for?

Btw you didn’t order any wheels, you ordered a hand bag and the wheels came instead lol

The tyres and wheels were cheaper than new tyres for my old steel wheels

I like this type of tread , nice and chunky and uniform. Looks similar to Michelin alpin. No idea if they'll last or not but 340 sheets for them ain't too bad and u don't do loads of driving, also there's a good cm clearance of the inner by about 10mm atleast, they aren't square profile like some are.

Dear do all in tbh with wheels but i plan to keep it as long as possible.

I've been a bit neglectful of the van for 2 reasons,1 not having the donor bits to hand and 2 not being in a position that I know exactly what to do. Well I always know what to do but I have checkpoints I make which allows me to get the jobs done quickly(ahem) anyway I've been really procrastinating about stripping the tourneo or fixing it and also the extent of stripping the keeper down but tonight I thought f*** it I'm getting nowhere here, so got the grinder out.

I'm happy to report that I've opened up the side enough to see the panels and my new box panel fits and I can now get on with it. I can fit the front arch panel and the rear inner tub. Happy days.

This looks like a lot of work! Where did you get your inner arch panel from? I need to get one too? Is rust on that point an MOT failure? I will definitely be replacing mine as it has a massive hole, I’m just curious for MOT.

Nice chunky tread on those, you’ll have to let us know what there like for when I wear out my ditchfinders, I do like those wheels, be nice in white

Bit more cleaning up of panel remnants and cut down the outriggers to fit the step.

Getting there

Took the seats off the tourneo, the drivers is heated 8)

Used white vinegar to wipe the mould off, smells but it's clean,I'll use my new round angle grinder brush and soap to lather them up clean,I've got the vax liquid too. The tourneo seat also has a pump bulb which is probably for the lumbar support? I'll see if I like them.

Onion is a natural deodorant apparently so put that near or on your seats mights take the smell out, might not.

Oooow heated seat eh, how very posh, that’s the first thing that gets switch on in my van, it eases the back pain you see.

Now then as your going to all this trouble and making me feel lazy why not make the sliders automatic, you know a wee motor so you can open/close with a button.

Anyhow keep up the good work.

Cheers Ned, it currently smells like salt n vinegar crisps in there

I have the vax multi and I got some spray items and I got the round brush head and failing that I'll get soap out whatever on it.

Did you plug and play yours? I have swapped the looms and the pins etc are there. Straight swap really 2 minute job

My heated seat was one of those kits you can get from the bay of e, my brother fitted it under the seat fabric and I wired it in, it’s the best mod on the van, after a long day my back is agony the heat helps easy the pain, thinking of fitting the same to the bench seat as well.

How much work is involved in the sld fitment? Looks a big job, I’ve been pondering the idea of fitting a drivers side fuel filler, the hardest part I can see is the filler door flap.

I'll let you know when it's done, I'm praying to Bialsibob that I don't come unstuck. I'm slowly chopping the panels from the tourneo.

Today i removed the whole loom from the right side, it goes from the back light to the big white connector under the dash, it includes the seatbelt thing and courtesy light, and the interior lights etc and the rear light cluster and so on

Most things are universal. No idea if the fuel flap is on the other side in Europe but the basic panel is the same. The tank is on the left as you know so would you need to drill a hole in it and push an extended pipe into it via the standard grommet?
