i think the plates are pre 1974 as i had them oin my old escort,

i get stopped all the time anyway i dont think the police like people having anything looks different, all i will do is have the real number plates in the van and say 'sorry i was at a show last night and i forgot to swop them back', should be ok as i have done this loads with my bikes and small number plates,

just got back and done even more shopping, ( i can see why my other half likes it so much as its quite good fun)

anyway i finally went and brought 2 liesure batterys, 2 X 110 amp for now might have to get a 3rd one depends on how things go, i also picked up some battery treminals, some buzz bars one for the live and one for the earth, and some spray glue for the carpet,

Black and white number plates can be fitted to vehicles manufactured (can be registered later) up to and including 31/12/72. The same rules as for NIL road fund liscence

Definately not legal on your van
Lucas Laser 2000/IDS
95 Pre Production DRW TD Highcube
95 Hallmark
96 150 100PS LWB Hi-Top
96 Autosleeper Duetto
06 Mk7 (scrap)
09 140PS T330S 2.2

Gaffa tape is like the force, it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together

Now you have blanked off the locks, I presume that you are fitting central locking in...
What else have you got planned with the bumper, any sunk-in spots etc :D

i all ready have central locking, electric windoews and electric mirrors ( mirrors not wired up yet)

all standard ford stuff got it all from a transit,

but i think you can use the door motors from a mk5 escort, the motors with 4 wires not the ones with 6 wires,

i think i might just leave the bumper as it is with no holes ect, just to confuse people its a standard bumper but there is something different with it, just a big fat bumper, :D

i am also no thinking of painting the hole van mat black, i think it looks really good as the front pics show,

and its easy to colour match,

thanks for the comments,

if you have any ideas about the bumper and you can photoshop them so i can see what it will look like then that would be very handy,

hi custom, glad to see you back on here, im still interested in that kit, and we might be able to sort something out, pm me and we can go from there,

yes two 110amp battery's i managed to get them new for £120. the pair, i think thats well cheep, as i was quoted £114.00 for just one,

the company i got them from is http://www.wilcodirect.co.uk/,

i think they are about the cheepest around at the minute with the price of scrap how it is,

i have only got two batteries at the minute so a total of 220 amps but i think i will need to get another one as my inverter will eat a 100 amp battery in an hour if it running full power,
