photoshop nope cant do that you are looking at me playing for 2 hours last night with 2 trolley jacks 1 bottle jack 3 wheels removed from the van and 207 kg of weights in the front footwell look vvvvv

does this make me a sad fooker 18's are too big,but maybe with smaller tyres on

r u still after some headlights that fit in ure sexy bonnet/grill on ure mk3? soz coundnt find right thread. i was in town and saw a mitsubishi collt that had long rayband headlights. when i came home and looked im not so sure? but then it got me thinking have u looked at a leyland daf 45 headlight? just a thought

ive sort of given up on the mk3 to be honest its done and it does its job,so when i finished wifeys capri i shall be cracking on with the mk2 cheers though

no more updates at the mo, im still collecting bits, got a mk3 independant front end coming but im still busy with another project which is nearly finished then i'll be getting on with this

you know it makes sence if you want to borrow* the welded steering joint ive got for column alignment i can bring it to north weald - thats assuming you havent got it done before then

*i say borrow because i'd like to keep it as i'm sure one day i'll do another

Are your suspension modification rules the same as ours

Changing the suspension is a mod that requires Low Volume Vehicle certification but taking the springs to the local spring maker and getting him to "recamber" them is a repair, no engineering input required.

Only learned this recently while in at the "smithy" and a boy-racer type came in to pick up some real interesting looking springs, thought he was making a sculpture until he explained what they were for.
