Cheers Andy. Am well happy with the wheel, just shame its not 320mm wide like advertised. more like 280 tops.
Still dont matter... Best thing is it sits roughly same distance away as orig, unlike some i seen where your virtually biting the wheel as you drive due to the dish effect of the spokes.....

The snap off hub works great too am most pleased with that as its only inch thick!! 8)

Well after 2 nights reading up on web about setting up webers, i put the vac advance onto the correct port(!) of the carb, not the manifold.
turned out idle screw til it no longer touched linkages then bk to barely touching.
used a mirror n small flat headed screw driver, i turned outthe mixture screw to get best lean idle.
then i turned out til it nearly died- bout another 1 full turn, then bk in again to a sort of sweet spot.

MUCH MUCH MUCH better pulling away on 1/4 -1/2 throttle smooth and consistant to 3000 rpm, but if i floored it before 3k it spluttered n back fired thru carb.
when i got to 3k, floored it and FEK ME,RRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
wahoo i do believe its on the right road, albeit still off destination but WOW
cant wait to get on A13 on thursday

Wow I'm impressed its looking good.

Probably best to have a rolling road session to set the carbs up properly
