Called for a bearing on the way home and although i really didnt feel like it did the shaft bearing. £56 for the bearing and clamp from frauds
Even worse i thought id price up the rivets for the rear bumper and corners about 15 required.Over £1 EACH!!!!
Ordered some off Ebay im not paying that.
Job done in little over an hout and the only hiccup was i had to cut the nut on the track rod end to get it off.Fortunatly i had a couple of genuine spares

I dont mess with the ball joint i prefer to remove the 2 wishbone bolts that way your not risking damaging the ball joint.
No problem removing the bearing it had well collasped and left only the centre ring which i cut into with the grinder and off it come.
Been for a drive and thats all the nasty noises gone apart from the egr on switch off but that doesnt worry me,its getting up plugged anyway.
This is the definatly by far the quietist 2.2 ive had to date the engine is unbelievably quiet,are the 110's generally quieter?
