Fitted my Mondeo internal door handles today ..

Next to get the door pull / stereo surround sprayed in matching silver ... then start Flocking the entire cabin

At last the seats are in ... well pleased with them

Next to get an auto electrician to get the heated seat wiring in and working and on to the next part of the project ...

I have to say , I was very dubious as to how this was going to come out ... but im stunned

It has turned the roof lining properly black and it looks as though it was black all along ... very good stuff

I used 2 cans , probably didn't really need to use 2 entire cans , but I wanted it to be as black as i could get it and i wanted it nice and even across the material , and this stuff has served me well ..

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to change the colur of their roof.

Apparently its meant for vinyl , and other stuff ... however i cannot comment on the finish it will give on any of those.

Here are some pics of my latest going's on.. ( again sorry for the grainyness - gets dark quick and phones not that great in the dark )

firstly the headlining pic..

spent an hour or so putting some euro tint on the fog lenses , really happy with how its turned out too.. looks great at night

have just ordered some more goodies of ebay too...

1. chrome bulbs to get rid of the fried egg look on the headlights

3. and rear door number plate light cover

should keep me busy enough on my next days off

Finally got a rear number plate cover off ebay .. £20 with complete door ... lol

as you can see its now also fitted, had a little trouble getting it to fit as its not an exact match shape wise , but its on there and looks pretty damn good in person, still need to do a wee bit of tweaking with it adding some foam to stop water running behind etc .. and getting some LED strip lights to go in there ... more to come soon

Has been a while since I last posted..

been pretty busy with christmas / birthdays and getting the van sorted....

Installed an Android double din stereo which is properly wicked & I am really chuffed with it ,any of you know the android system know its easy to mod and do stuff to and already I have created custom stuff for it ..

The ford start up splash screen , swiping the ford logo to unlock

And a custom home launcher

It has sat nav / rear view camera / dvd player / wifi dongle / dual screen capabilities and anything an android phone can do .. this does also







As well as fitting the new head unit I have also fitted drilled / grooved mintex discs and pads all round



And as is that wasn't enough I have pretty much done the complete inside of my van with FATMAT / DYNOMAT sound deadening material .. literally just finished the front doors this morning.

It has made such a difference to the entire van.. it now feels more sturdy without not one single knock or squeek and the road noise / general interior noise has dropped a fair amount.



and my latest small mod that I have done today is replaced the orange side repeaters for clear ... looks so much better .. .wish I had done it ages ago..



One final picture

I had an auto electrician come around to help me fit my stereo ... it cost me £500 and I didnt want to risk it with my limited electronic knowledge... guess what he turned up in !!!! ( mine is the one on the drive with the gunmetal wheels )
