All went fine, glad. Had the donor van as it made everything alot easier and meant less time off the road. Although did have some trouble finding a down pipe that fitted, the 3rd one i tried worked but needed my center section flange cut off and turned 45degrees.

Starts alot better now aswell, not sure if thats to do with a blanked off egr or the correct oil! Starts on the button now.

Have had a quick play with the pump still plenty more tuning to do as theres no smoke at all on acceleration, dont want to go to far as only get around 23-24 mpg atm.

Brilliant mate sounds good. What paint is that you used on the cab? Need to do mine and wanted something durable

Looking good, was also going to ask what paint you used on the cab, did you thin it?

I used jawels paint, cant remember the type the guy recommended it after i said i was roller painting, cost me £20ish for 2.5 litres and still have half the tin left.

The first coat i thinned, but it seemed to want to run and was quite hard to apply to get a good finish, didnt thin by much, i think the weather didnt help though as it was very cold!

The second coat i did about a week later and the world had warmed up by then and went on loads better, after a quick sand. It did the job and its red rather than primer so im happy.

So was expecting a customer to arrive at 9am, i get a call at 5am to say hes just left his house and broken down, ended up driving 160miles to him and then 160 miles back! The engines goes well, cruises nicely at 65 loaded but still drops down on the hills. Think it needs the uprated pump..

Anyway quick picture

Yes the wheels look awful, was going to spray them when i convert the front hubs and fit the right wheels to match the back.

Its on the standard 76ps pump, i have a feeling the torque sleeve needs a clean out, i have wound the pump abit, dont want to go to far as i only get around 22mpg atm, but im usually going as fast as the tranny will let me. Should probly try going at 55 see what mpg i can get.

Have also done the leak off mod, drives so much better now, can actually hear the turbo working away now and revs alot better, and hills are much more fun.

On the list to do

New aerial
Convert front hubs
New sound deadening matt for the cab as its non existant at the min
Cambelt
Paint wheels
