Door lock barrel requires drilling, So I can remove it & fit van's original

Also test fitted bonnet & headlights. To make sure it all lines up ok

After the wind died down & it stopped bloody raining.

Got mk7 N/S front door fitted this afternoon.

Inspected replacement rear bumber. - Unsure if standard tow bar I have sat here, will fit with this bumper



This one has parking sensors. Van already has parking sensor although aftermarket - Don't know if they work or not.
3 sensors on this bumper are no good. Looks like they have been snapped off....



Main reinforcement has been squashed at one end. I can sort that out



Mk7 5 speed selector assembly to be fitted in the morning

Sorted out paint this afternoon,

Cut square section out from old side loading door & took it with me to get correct colour match.





Colour is College Blue (MET) & as usual gone for 2K basecoat - 2 Litres worth. That's should be enough to paint up:-
Font Bumper (Centre section), Front wings, Bonnet, Both front doors, Side loading door & O/S centre panel.

Hi, is it any easier if I was to get a Mk7 rear bumper, the guy you got the door from has a complete rear bumper for £50 and £10 delivery. Or you are ok with the one I bought already / get the Mk7 and fit after market sensors then there won't be an issue with the tow bar, just a thought

I did see that bumper. Tow bar you dropped down would fit with that.
If you want to get it, I have no problem with that

Most of damaged was to doors, which are easy to replace.
Apart from dent in O/S centre lower panel & rear x-member, rest of body work is fine.
