Nice one Luke just the job 8) I am all ready now my wiring loom has turned up I have all the bits in place.
Just a word of warning to others about to try this buy an engine complete with loom as they are very hard to find and cost almost as much as the engine  Just need some decent tyres now I have 195's on but the RS wheels are pretty wide and will take a 225 if I can find some :?

Well I have got her back :D but not completely happy yet as there are a few teething problems  I will post some piccies later when I get the wheels on.
Anybody know where I can get some 14" 225 commercial tyres from without having to take out a mortgage to pay for them :?: Just bought a set of Agilis 15" 225's for the mk5 so don't want to spend another fortune as I may not keep the Ronal wheels, they may have to go to fit some 16" wheels instead.

Yes brought it back yesterday and it was a bit rough, needed my hand controls setting to the new throttle cable which I've done this afternoon just needs the brake bands and cable on the autobox setting up as the fitter hadn't a clue :?
Doesn't spin the wheels too much as the auto seems to deliver the power smoother than a manual :?: I was going to fit some 16" wheels but its okay on the 14's so I am going to put some tyres on the RS Ronals and fit them tomorrow.

Engines in and just needs the wires tidying, and a few other bits and bobs :D Most of the crap wiring is from the adaptions done before I bought it :( Why auto electricians don't wrap wires as they add them is beyond me as its a pain getting to them all now.

It has two fans one on a switch on the other side of the rad and one on a thermostat on this side which I added after driving it and deciding one wasn't enough.

Its not a bad motor, pretty clean
