Ive not seen many without a sliding door, did you have to order that way? Seen a couple disabled buses without one.

cheers again chadmat :)
i've only had the van 2 years, and the builders before me only had it since '96, so i don't know who ordered it without the s,l,d. it's one of those mysteries :)

thought i'd update/end this tread before starting the next one,
since the last few pic's of the van, not much has changed,
but here's what has,
returned to england(no work in portugal :( )
fitted a eberspacher :)
Image
got broken into and lost some tools
fitted a mk3 bonnet :)
Image
a split charger and 2nd battery(for the heater)
Image
and then the diff started to whine like a mother in law, so i got one from a scrapy, hammerited it and fitted it
Image
then the van was stolen  but without any tools in it
but with the eberspacher in it
so no more mk3 for me, i've since bought a T reg smiley,

i know mate  who nicks a 18 year old van,
it couldn't have been for look's,
scabby back door and dent's in the side's,
must have got weighed in some where,
just wonder if the b@stids spotted the heater tucked under the seat :?:
or the switch for the fan :?: hope not, then maybe it cooked itself leaving them stranded somewhere,
anyhow, not happy :x

Some good news, some bad. :) :(
Most of all, I'm delighted you got the Eberspacher! You must have smiled from ear to ear when you saw it still there! :D

Mind if I PM you about a few bits before you scrap it?

yeah alan, i did think the same.
those pic's were taken @ 10am,
then i went and asked the scrappy to take it,
then i niped home to get him the V5,
when i got back to him he said, "i just got off the phone with my mate, that's gonna take it, and it's got no axle"
someone ripped the axle off in less of an hour :!:
