Hi 100T280
But do you have any idea where I should wire my 4 unconnected radio remote wires to ?
Is the black that goes to the radio an earth ? Is the white/green a live feed it doesn't seem to have a live feed from anywhere ? The blue with red tracers I would have guesssed instrument illumination but the remote doesn't light up !.
Any help would be much appreciated, because all I then have to do is figure how to mount it (cable ties are looking good at the moment ) :? Gotta move the cruise control stalk first though!
Thanx
Terry

Have to say I haven't a clue, would need to look at the TIS to see if it has the Scorpio diagrams, haven't got it at the mo. It should work as it is, just plug it in and see if it functions, it shouldn't need any external inputs.
Is the stalk illuminated on the Scorpio then?

Hi 100T280
Have tried just plugging in in but it doesn't work.
No the Scorpio remote isn't illuminated.
Didn't even know there was a TIS for the Scorpio ! Or is it a disc that covers many models ?
(If it is I bet the Scorpio isn't on it :? ).
Its a lovely car, but I am fast getting to hate it.I drove 5 miles into Staines the other day & it dumped the contents of the cooling system on my feet. Heater matrix gone ! I must have had 3 months use of it in the last 12 months.
Thanx

I know what you mean, it's why I kept my (Granada) Scorpio.

Stands outside now, and hasn't run in a few years  it's a very early one, was registered to Ford at Warley (Brentwood) HQ believed to be a press car, though Ford didn't respond to requests for info., has all the toys 8) even the rear seat headphones and audio control panel.

Hi 100T280
One of the Scorpio club members has an early Cosworth, she can get no info on it at all. Absolutley no record of it. She thinks it was an 'experimental/ jiggle with car' Funny thing is if you hook off the 3 plugs leads on one bank it still runs & revs as normal ! Couple of Ford people looked at it at Harewood House last year, first said it was impossible then when demonstrated, still said it was imposssible. !

Given manufacturers desire to standardise and use existing bits id have thought that transits and mondeos would be very close cousins in many respects

the Tourneo has aircon, remote locking, electric windows and mirrors, if cruise and remore control radios were options id guess the wiring was included in all looms just like fitting a tachograph isnt hard because the vehicle was built ready to fit

Have absolutly no doubt of that bud! However I need a starting point. I know that its a five pin relay but cant find one from a Granada. if I knew the type of relay I could source one from Vehicke wiring products or Pole volt.

Any Granada Mk2 with rheostat controlled variable intermittent, or Mk3 with 6 speed rotary stalk control will have the 5 pin red delay relay.

Pretty sure that the relay is Ford-specific, and won't be available other than from scrapyard or dealer.
