A full month after starting the red paint I finished it today!

I've either been too busy of the weather has been shite. Then I found out that the depot at my bother's work is empty most sundays, makes a cracking workshop, bone dry, warm, lights, leccy, nice loud radio, tearoom, toilets etc







The sill, have welded a plate over this






Here it is, with the masking tape still on





Unfortunatly the power steering has sprung a leak, hopefully get the garage to have a look at it tomorrow

Power steering now sorted, it was just a burst pipe hopefully won't be too costly

Forgot to update with this, I fitted 4 LED strips (2x2ft 2x4ft) a month or so back

Couldn't be bothered with an extra switch for these so I took a feed off the existing rear lights





The mix of the white/ice blue leds and yellowish filament bulbs is a light that is kind to the eye

The LED strips were about £17 inc postage, from hong kong via ebay

Well at 9 years old the battery has had it, have replaced it with twins

How much did you pay for the batteries ? was my estimate right ?

Lowest I could get him down to was 42 ex vat so about £96 in total, so your price was about right given that glasgow is usually cheaper

Oh and that is a pair of the FWD batteries, 64 a/hr, the old one that came out was only 60 a/hr though

The RWD type ones which are only a little bit bigger were about £20 more each!!
