My project; new pics

I'm having a dim day I think, was sat here for ages trying to work out where in the van this was took, thought the mat was a cupboard door, then realized it's on it's side

yeah; I had a heck of a job standing the van on its nose for that pic!!

just got my new wheels; weller chrome 8 spokes, slightly rusty so I'll spray them.
fronts are 6x14; rears are 7x14, only £67 off of fleabay!

thats the way with mine the sliding door hits them when i have 195's on - you could fit a mk3 axle as it's narrower or mod the door a bit

look forward to the pics with em on

yeah; I'll probably have to mod the door a little, space the runner out a little with washers and modify the bottom bracket abit

i looked at doing mine and the way i think the 'best' way is to alter the doors back runner that runs in the track along the outside of the van - unfortunatly it goes through 2 axis so it's not the easyest way but it'd look the most proffesional

hmm; good idea, I'll look at that! I work in a huge sheet metal factory so I can fabricate almost anything I need!

and these are the wheels Ive got for her; going to paint them but I dont know what colour yet!

Two of the wheels are 6x14 and the other two are 7x14(for the rear naturally)
think I'll fit 205/60s to the front and 205/70s to the rear; will maybe paint the spokes black and the rims silver; what do you recon??

nice at 1st glance i thought they were all the same but i can see the wider ones

i'd go all white or all chrome

I'm actually in the process of moving house this week; so its fairly typical that the vans exhaust down pipe would blow this morning!!
Still; Ive managed to replace it, and Ive just found that I need to replace a wheel bearing too!! ho hum!
