There was a guy who posted a while ago who had this massive yank on the back and then said about his brakes were falling apart dont get me wrong like them just they can't carry much without being overweight

in all fairness it did not drive to bad ,as for the brakes again not to bad as it had had a full brake rebuild not long ago ...but its not some thing i would reconmend .Being over weight on a transit it somthing you just cant be off mine weights 2 ton on the dot so is lighter than most .....good old mk3 :)

as said these transits are very easily overweight, mines overweight quite often (not by a great deal) but nothing like that yank lol. mine weighs JUST under 2200kgs empty.

hi, havent posted on here for a while. well the old girl passed out the other day, nothing major but still a pain in the ass tho.
whilst its off the road been cracking on with a few jobs that needed to be done so the first one was to remove the poorly fitted grp roof pod that has been leaking since i've owned it. somebody thought it would be a good idea to rivet it on with over 25 rivets! and not sealing it proper to which caused a bit of tin worm. so out with the welder it was. and another job i been wanting to do was to relocate the winch under the bed which is being done tommorow along with some repairs to rear of cab and reducing the seating down to 2 single recaros out of an 88 spec rs turbo. anyway heres some pics
