95 swb custom. BIG very BIG update

Todays update.

first job of the day was to cut out the old and rotten back arch





ozzy welding it on ( he has welding goggles on lol )



all welded up



then we had to put a pach on next to the arch under the bumper sides





as we had the arch cut out we then cut what was left of the rotten sill out



removeing the spot welds



the iner sill needs some work



we then made a new outer sill and got that welded on



here is how its now looking





also we have made a start on meshing the grill



here is all the mess so far

it has been alot of hard work but its startin to look good. I have only just got back home. for the last 4 days I have been up at 7.30am then getting to daves place were we are working on the van at 9.30am then working till it gets dark and then back home just after 10.00pm. so I am well had it now and there is still lots and lots to do.

todays update

first job was to finish the raer arch



next job was to finish the sill and look i have a welding mask thanks to Nadjenka



our makeshift shelter as it stated to rain but stoped when we got it up


ozzy working under the van


two coats of filler later


first coat on the sill


second coat on the sill


small mod in the gear stick


and this is how the van sits now


all the welding under the back is done and the inner sill is done just one more wheel arch, driver step and drivers inner wheel arch to finish then thats all the welding done unless it keeps rusting before our eyes lol

just got back in. its been along day but I can see the end in sight but still lots to do.

both me and dave are haveing the morning off so we can go to a car boot sale to see what goodies we can find for the van and then we will be back working on it.
