You are correct!
There are two lights on it in the corners, they are holding the number plate on.

Thanks for the comments on the colours, I am now on the lookout for the smooth bumpers front and rear so i can get them colour coded to match the lower part of the van.

My painter says to come across in the latter part of the week so we can fit the side windows and he has some graphics for the side.

Just smooth the ones you have using high build primer, it's how mine were done.

Took the van in as arranged, and set about fitting the side windows

Then we opened up the back to take out the floor and deal with the rust around the loading hooks.

More to come in a few days after he has welded the missing metal back in and fitted a floor back in....

Called down to see the van at the shop and this is what i saw......the hole got bigger

as you can see from the photo's both side pieces of the chasis rail at the rear of the spring hangers are missing... they were too rotten to salvage. The cross members/floor braces were degraded enough to crush with the hands, and the left hand chassis rail is blistered with rust, enough to buckle the steel. The steel panels/plates at the rear of the wheel arch below the cross member have had to be totally removed and new pieces made, from templates and cut from the steel that we removed when fitting the windoows - nice bit of recycling!

We cant chop the left hand chassis rail out so whats going to happen is, a piece of angle section welded across the perished steel and the rotten metal will be taken out with a grinder or in this case a pair of blunt school scissors

If you are wondering why the garage floor looks that colour? its the remnants of my load area floor

Just to give you an idea of how much "solid" floor and rear section was left is in this next picture... a mudflap is there for scale. Notice the long brown piece of steel section at the front right? that was the floor support and you can pick it up and break pieces off with your hands!!!!!

Who wants to see a photo of the brave chap who is doing all this welding or should i say restoration work?
