Hiya Man, nice to meet you as well...

Tonight i was tidying up mostly but i did manage to get the rear struts bolted onto the tailgate , weighs a lot despite being fibreglass but now no more propping up with timber , which is handy as its load area is a storeroom at the mo.....

Ryzman the Roofer offered to sort out a proper car port though for it to live in which will help no end not having to unwrap it every time i want to work on it or to just look & think "how will to i do that " .....

I see what you mean about the rear lights in the bumper but look kool !!!! Carn't wait to see it going forward and gettin more and more together.

Wow was it 13 months ! got a space to work on it at last, have doubled the size of my driveway, my tenant went nuts but seems settled now..

Towed & pushed the beast in tonite & bodged up some wiring & got a spark

Got TDC worked out ( i think ) & HT lead positions

Need to get a few HT leads tomorrow & then prime the oil pump, add transmission fluid & check out the fuel side of things, it has a hand made fuel tank & leccy pump so all there basically ..

No exhaust fitted so will sound great i am sure

Get it running in 7 days thats the goal

After trying out a few different number 1 cylinders & got some specatular misfire bang, Got it running , the mallory dual point system threw me a bit , but it ran Ok for a few seconds so i think i am there...

Had probs with oil pressure though, got no gauges or idiot lights fitted yet but more importantly havent got any oil coming through the rockers even with it running.. have packed pump gears twice with vaseline & has a slowish drill connected to the dizzy base .. if anyonehas done it i could do with some tips!

With all the fireworks going off last nite it was the perfect time to start it but man was it loud ! next job is fit exhausts & read more on oil pump priming..
