defo right there bud :D plus its nice to learn new things

Yeah, the amount of stuff I've learnt over the years has left me confident to do just about anything myself. Well, except plastering, I never mastered that... :)

its going to require a bit of fettling as its not for a transit but by the time i've sorted headlights grille and wheels i can send it all into the paintshop for repairs and paint then should have a nice looking mk5 :D

Well after a 500 mile round trip passing through Rugby and Rotherham i've finally after 4/5 months of looking got myself another lwb auto prop and i picked up my new wheels. i'll hopefully get the prop fitted this week or next weekend and with regards to the wheels, you'll just have to wait and see :D

Well finally picked up another prop shaft for the old girl which isn't much better than the old one :( but i thought it would give me opportunity to send the other one off. Anyway had a phone call today to say that the company that had repaired it previously had put the cv joint back together wrong so it is now unrepairable  Anyway i now have to take the van off the road to to send the other one off which is a real pain in the butt. Also i have a leaking powere steering hose :( On a positive note tho i now have a new heater box for the old girl and will be getting my new alarm and auto window closure sytem fitted soon :D
While its off the road i might have a go at some of the bodywork too :?

Well not had a chance to do anything to this recently as i managed to break my foot in feb so what with catching up with work and trying to get my fitness back ive had no time and ive also now got a baby boy due in august so i also have no money  The old girl is still soldiering on tho and ive managed to stop most of the power steering leak which helps. I have also had the new log book back so its now classed as an mpv so i will be able to take it in to London again
I am currently waiting for a unit to become available so i have somewhere to work on the van so this thread will have to wait till then :(

This is going to be coming up for sale very shortly. It'll make a fantastic camper conversion with the double glazing all it needs is the bodywork tidying up. Its also had the log book changed to an mpv. I'll be looking for around £1500 for it. I've done loads to it with a lot of new parts. If any ones interested bell us on the number below. I should have a proper ad up in the next week or so
