van looks geat fella

well its been a crap day and its only just started,

i ordered a new side door and it turned up to day and its for the right hand side even though i was sold it as a left hand door,

then i thought sod it i will get on with sorting out the kitchen area in the van so put the new drain plug inand the tap then i tryed to pump the water and the pmp seems to not work, again told it was a working pump,

then i thought sod it i will get the new gas pipe on and that works,



i filled the sink up with water to see if it was water tight and all seems to be ok,




just need to clean up the tap to make it all shiny

all this takes me back to 2003 when was helping once make his camper from wicks

i am going to see if i can fit it to the front of my van,

well i have been out and taken the vent of the bonnet,



and tryed it on the van to see what it would look like,






what do you think,

i just taped it on to see what it will look like,

i have been cutting it down and trying it on my old bonnet to get the right shape,

Hey Spudmab.. looking good.... will you just stick the Nissan Pulsar GTI-R bonnet louve on for just cosmetics or are you gonna open up the vents into the engine bay...

How much did you pay for it anyway?.

thanks, i dont know what i am going to do with the vent yet i stuck it on last night to to have a look and im not 100% sure if i like the look, as i only paid a £10.00 for it im not that fussedi it goes on or not, will have to watch this space

i also mounted the spare wheel on the back door last night,

made up some plates to go inside to spreed the load, should be getting cover for it later today,






i think it should look good when i get a cover for it and it hides the wheel,

i have been messing around trying to sort out a place to fit some guages in my van and i have come up with this,










what do you lot think,

I like the guages, though wouldn't the rev counter be better closer to the speedo/ normal clocks?

i dont think i will be keeping the rev counter, i am trying to get mondeo clocks, plus the rev cunter is for a petrol so i dont thinnk it will work,

i got all 3 clocks in a piller post for £29.95, so i just put them in to see what it will look like,

i just have to wire them in, i have now got a running water surply in my van ( well only when i fill teh water tank up)
i have also sotred out the wiring for the kill switch and fitted a volt meter in the back to run of the leisue batteries just to know how much power they have left,

Nice idea, was thinking of buying roof pilar pod, but now Ive seen that, something else to get my hands on... Well done
