There was still pressure in the bottle when he posted the picture saying it was empty. Probably just needed to turn the regulator up.

yes use to get it out the shed turn it on till you couldnt turn it then do the welding then turb it of as it says on the arrows on top till it wouldnt turn any more then back in the shed

when i tock the pipe of from the welder so i could test it as when i turned the gas bottle on nothing come out at all!

and when i got it it come out good even blow bikes over with how much the gas come out :!:

but nothing now maybe have a refill again and maybe only turn the bottle on till gas comes out in sted of full lock! :?

you screw the regulator out for LESS gas mate

also you should only need the tap on about a turn at most

you should have about 0.2 bar pressure going to the torch, you dont need full bottle pressure at the welder

all i can think of is before i do buy a other refill is to take the regulator as if i just got the bottle and try it again and if nothing comes out then it must be empty :? seem best to do that then

plus i can get it cheaper! ie its 60.00 to the door or if i pay dave 10.00 for diesel and got to spilsby i can get it for 14.00 for the refill and 10.00 handle charge
so about 35.00 ish just have to take some sort of sponge for the gass bottle and maybe some wheels to shop it flying around in the back of the van

Your bottle still had gas in it for sure, there was still pressure on the gauge!

This is showing there is gas in the bottle. Turn the regulator in until you get pressure on the right hand gauge.

int - get your uncle to take the regulator off and SLOWLY crack open the bottle - if there is pressure in there as i suspect then you will hear it come out - then IMMEDIATLY shut off the bottle :!:

there is no reason for the gas to be empty even if you had the regulator turned up full the amount you have used it would still have plenty in - the only way is if you have a leak on the pipes and you leave the bottle open 24/7 :D
