Well it's the only bit that moves and every book I have every seen shows this pulley being undone to remove and aslo being used when tensionening!

how do you think you tension the belt on other engines where the pulley dont move at all, most diesel engines the pulley is fixed with a centre bolt on a tapered shaft with a keyway

Has the turbo you fitted had any adjustments carried out to it in the past :?:

Why I ask, is now we have an EPIC electronic diagram/info and this could well be why your pump is hunting :?: 'specially as it was alright before

hi mate dont know about the turbo :? :? it has always hunted ever since i owned it but never blew any significant smoke :? :? it could be linked but for some reason i cant view the epic manual so dont know what your on about :lol: :lol: :roll: 572 miles now :shock: :lol: :lol: still going well 8)
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

The EPIC manual is in the 'computer related' section. :D

I found it very interesting :D but was dissappointed with the lack of mechanical exploded diagrams :( Never mind we're a bit further with this EPIC :lol: :lol: :lol:

ye i see the epic manual but for some reason it wont open past the 1st page :? :lol: :lol: anyway off to frauds tommorow new ecu and pump being coded :roll: :roll: will see what happens after then :lol: :lol: for some reason tonite the managemant light came on for 10 miles or so then went off again :? :?

couldnt do it yesterday because they were snowed under with recalled trannys and galaxy's :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: even tho i was booked in :evil: :evil: :evil: anyway tried rossets (merc truck center) :oops: and they are having the van in tonight and i will have it back tommorow morning 8) £25ish more but hey far more helpful :lol:

:lol: :lol: van aint going anywhere now i cured the black smoke 8) 8) 8) but she still hunts :( i simply disconnected the butterfly loads more power no black smoke and she is a lot better on fuel 8) even better by the end of tommorow :shock: :lol:

Really good :!: And from this I think I've worked out why my box changes late since having a new pressure switch :wink:

right went and picked a 4.63 axle up yesterday but got home and realised it was from a srw :oops: :roll: :lol: anyway spoke to mark who said dont try and swap the diffs :( :( but guess what i only went and done it !!.got a hand from a friend was a horrible job but it's in there and works and no whine slight judder on pulling away but other than that perfect :lol: :lol: top speed of 105mph now :shock: acceleration was slightly poo but i had a look at the wastegate actuater and have adjusted it slightly and shes nearly back the same 8) 8) 8) wonder how long the turbo will last tho :? :? :lol: anyway 1020 miles of trouble free motoring so far 8) 8) 8)

Repair an epic pump.no problem mate with my eyes closed.Upload on the computer,well thats a different story.I will have to get Steve or my six year old grandaughter to help
