how do you think you tension the belt on other engines where the pulley dont move at all, most diesel engines the pulley is fixed with a centre bolt on a tapered shaft with a keywayMrMPuk wrote:Well it's the only bit that moves and every book I have every seen shows this pulley being undone to remove and aslo being used when tensionening!
