i was thinking somthing similar for a twin wheel (one single banded wide wheel at the back) but there would have to be some renforcement as the wheel could buckle under the weight

as i've fitted the swb axle on the back the prop wouldn't reach - rather than lengthen the prop i've had a spacer made up. basically the engine gearbox wont be staying so long term i'll be having another prop made so this is a temparary fix i know its not as strong as having the prop lengthened but with a 1.7 V4 i can't see it being a problem

anyway less of the mocking - whats the thread size on the bolts that hold the prop to the swb diff ? the standard ones are 20mm long and i need some 50mm but what thread is it?? unf??

my cars got imperial wheel stud threds (i think) and i bought some nuts claiming to fit but i found out in the end they where metric..how...3 nuts fell off

might need one cos i dont think they are unf i always thought they were too (3/8") but these ones ive got dont seem right - the pitch is right but the o/d is a bit small

I always thought they were M12 fine, so maybe try 1/2" UNF, or get the calipers & pitch gauge out?
