well had a result today :D was wondering about the servo and master cylinder, not keen on the worn out mk1 and 2 variants so went into the stores and brought out ALL the variants of servo and master cylinder ford have used on transit from mk1 to mk7, wasnt long before i had a hybrid servo and master fitted 8) , i used the mk1/2 bracket then discovered that a s.w.b mk6 servo has the same configuration of 4 studs sticking out the back as a mk1/2  so bolted that on, tried shutting the bonnet but the reservoir of the mk6 is huge and fouled the bonnet :x wasn t long before i realised a 1998 smiley master cylinder is a Bosch like the mk6 , well the reservoir only fits and is smaller so dosent foul the bonnet 8) 8) all i had to do then was cut and weld the end of the rod that links the pedal to the servo and it was fitted il add a pic soon as i forgot me camera today  the master cylinder has an outlet for each corner so il be pipeing it accordingly :D

Imagine someone in the future trying to work out what M/C is on it! You had better take notes Geoff in case you forget!

good to let us know geoff..
My mk2 servo, has gone and it has become with a heavy pedal, not in a day but over long time which will be unoticeble. Was going to ask in a new thread but.. Does a mk5 servo fit over the mk2 firewall?? even if I have to do some mods, I can hold a welder
I want a mk5 so the rubber diaphram wont be too old , which will leak.
I may guess that you have access to plenty of parts :P :P

this is an unreal build. quality work. ive already got a mk3 bendix box and ive just found another in a dead ambulance! would i be right in thinking the whole steering shaft from the mk3/4/5 and just the outer column cut n shut?

its been a slog, and some of the parts your looking at are still "in progress" ive relined the rear axle, new rear wheel cylinders, new brake fitting kit, new rear shocks (gen ford), new brake pipes completely, new front discs (genuine ford vented 8) )new wheel bearings, new clutch (gen ford), new water pump (gen ford), new cambelt (gen ford), the gen ford parts with discount are only fractionally dearer than pattern and as im planning on keeping it i think the extra is well worth it :!: , ive plumbed the cooling system in, plumbed the pas system, plumbed the brakes, im waiting for my calipers to come back as ive had them rebuilt :D my seats are in the trimmer, and theres still plenty to do but im making ground still :D
