Well today me and Emma went to Treasure Island where the Captain mouned my tires to my wellers and i fitted them up!
I chipped the weights off when spraying up the wheels so ill need then re balancing but not the end of the world.
PLUS i can just about still open side door WAHOO

its about time i made use of my posh new phone and got a few more pictures up... day off tomorrow and its gonna hit bout 19 degrees so ill get some good angles shot!
update on the running situation... 95 ron unleaded works better than 97/99 ron... hmmm? guess this old girl likes bber not champagne?? or is it just cos the diesel is now diluted to fek??
either way, runs loads better now and fkin flies when the second choke opens
still has a few niggley bits but nothing more throttle cant overcome!
got some chromed nut covers, look sweet on the rears but the front studs are about half inch longer than the rears??? WHY?
can i just cut em down or does anyone think this is a bad idea?? only gonna cut AFTER the nut, obviously...
got me some centre caps too now, TOUCH!! will try to fit tomorow! if its not too hot
so anyone need any 14" mk5 wheels inc tires...£10 each of 4 for £30!!! 6 for £45. pm me!
also vv carb n pinto manifold £40 ono
Genuine copper mk2 pinto rad, good nick considering 30 years old £40 ono
few other bits n bobs will bring it all to north weald!
any ways, be bk tomo with jpegs!!
