If i cleaned it it would look like that for about an hour befor i drove it again :roll:

Ohh air con.......I dream of this along with a turbo on my MK5 :) I can imagine just fitting air con without the turbo and I'll have a van even more sluggish than it is now!

Where did the air con kit come from and how much ££ ?? Im really tempted to put aircon into mine if its not too tricky. Electrics wise wouldnt be a problem for me, just mounting up the compressor perhaps.

Lots of pics please - wanna see how tricky this is gonna be :)

I got the A/C of a scrapper. the whole lot :D

Paid £80 with a fooked condensor

Most tricky bit is goeeing the fooking dash out :wink:

Mouting the compressor is piece of pi$$ 4 bolts remove old mount C/W PAS pump fit compressor mount and re fit PAS pump :D

Only thing you need to make sure is you get the crank pully. like i didnt :oops:

That's a nice feeling when you know it is repairable. Even better when its fixed.

Long time sold: Mk5 LWB 190, 2.5di banana SHR, 3 seats, SLD, Twin rear doors (rusted bottoms), manual locking & windows.

I am taking the pipes to the AC man tomorrow. I fi can get a pully and the whole lot pressure tested before saturday i will be happy 8) 8)
