havnt done too much as mates are about to move units
besides clean the welds up underside and seam seal joints
i bought a adaptor plate to put a di into a v8 landrover so it should work the other way round
worth a gamble at £56 off ebay
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!

progress should be moving at a faster pace over the next week or so
had a load on but gotta make some van time
waiting for adaptors to be finished then can get the wheels on the back to build arches
got the steel to smooth the sides and two new sections to replace the middle body line
as i wasnt happy with the one where i joined it
so im gonna cut the whole section out and replace it on bolth sides
ill load some pics soon (new phone gotta work out how to use it lol)
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!

after been so busy yesterday managed to get a day on van
the body line i wasnt happy with so i cut another section from a van

grafted it in so the line was perfect

then used the sheet steel i bought to smooth the side
Image
was a complete arse to get right but worth all the effort
also gives the side more strength as well as smooth looks
still waiting for adaptors so i can do arches
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!

spent a day yesterday just finishing off the side panel i had started to smooth out
one of those jobs where you spend all day and it looks like youve done nothing
but that ones now ready for filling and sanding
still waiting for adapters for my wheels supposed to have been done for end of june
phoned him yesterday and hes on holiday for 2 weeks (major set back )
so still cant get the rear arches sorted
but theres still plenty of other stuff i can be doing

got motivated today
as it was raining i decided to have a few hours on van
so got round to cutting down the side door
Image
Image
so it now hinges from the top after cutting the lower section off
Image
tomorrow should see the bottom of the door sorted
and hopefully the lower section welded into position
