Finally got around to reading this from the start RB, cracking effort Mate :!: Van looks really good, and so different from when you started :)

Couple of quick questions, did you have a drivers door pocket at the bottom of drivers door, or did you fit it and is it just a modified pass side one :?:

Did you insulate before fitting the carpet in the back :?:

Thinking of doing that to mine :?

Have you still got the original driver's seat :?:

Might be interested if you wanted to flog it :)

Started to flatten so I made up a padded leather cover for the arm rest before it got worn out.

Got my transit seat back in as I missed having a heated backside  next time I swap them I'll transfer the heated element over to my recaro seat.

Cheers
Chris.

Thanks Chris, might have to think of something else for mine as my "making padded armrest" skills aren't what they might be :?

I got an ex AA drivers seat to put in as a single passenger, but realised it was heated/pump up, so swapped it with mine. just got it working yesterday, and boy does is get warm 8)

So I thought I'd try and get one to put in passenger side. Anyway, not to worry, enjoy your warm butt :)

RB's is an ex AA, and they had the heated seat, our RAC ones don't.

Managed to get one off the Bay for mine, then had to get the loom and switch. both will just plug in and work, mine even had the fuse in place :)

Cheers. Had a look online couldn't see a seat. Will keep looking. I found the switch. This might sound daft but where does the switch go lol. Thanks

Switch goes into the seat base. If you look at the front face of the base (your existing one will be the same), just below the seat on the handbrake side, you'll see a nice rounded oblong shaped hole. That's the hole. Switch is the same as the Ford Ka switch, but I bought mine from dealers before I realised I could get one from the Bay :?

Hope all that makes sense. Gets pretty hot pretty quick :)

The Tourneos have the same seat as well, but they do tend to be a bit pricey. Still pretty cheap compared to buying one from Ford though. :)

The doors were flocked black mate.

Just changed the interior round again, had it done in a grey flock as the black had to be cleaned every day as it shown up every hair and dust particle!
