so helpful i can't begin to tell you.
They made my front & rear springs uprated at
the rear & same at front.

the vac pipe for the dizzy advance is in the wrong place! it should be piped to carb for vac, and the manifold vac pipe blanked or blocked off

otherwise youll get advance even when only barely using throttle , i had to swap em over when i read up on the 32/36 carb!

still if its running sweet mabey leave or at least test to see if driveability improves/worsens!

the thin blk pipe from round thing on side of dizzy- currently to manifold (onto a pipe fitting into side)
when was in my van, i had short bit of pipe with a rivet jammed down it on that fitting on manifold= blocks the pipe up,
the dizzy vac pipe ran up to another similar sized fitting on throat of the carb, so its vac activated with throttle not manifold!

means it dont over advance , or advance to early!

Ah right, am i right in thinking thats the pipe that has the petrol return filter now? Nope ignore this, i get what youre saying now...mines attached to the block, yours was to the carb

The only thing i could think was different was the return for the petrol. I thought that was the pipe that you had blocked off, but you know me, its all a bit complimicated

Thank you so much CE, i found a set of springs on the bay that have never been fitted, rubbed them down, removed surface rust, treated, greased and they looked pretty cool, then left them next to the rabbits, dagus and guinea pigs and the hay stuck to them like glue! Made me chuckle as it was like tar and feather, Just trying to find the right front rear bushes (had to ask a bloke on e bay to measure his bush for me...blush) and mobile van man has lived up to his usual outstanding self and offered to fit so all good. Neil said they might be a bit flimsy for the job but dont have the bucks to have a go twice!

might have been used for the operation of the flap that allows warm air from exhaust into air box on old set up?!
