"Its Alive!" Decided to get into work early this morning to crack on with a few jobs before starting work. Started with gear selector, which by the time had pulled the old one out, everyone was in and Nick couldn't help himself and joined in. Selector, inhibitor switch, sorted box dipstick tube out and topped up A4LD and PAS pump with Dextron III, still few jobs to do, kickdown connection is a solenoid rather than the C3's mechanical, so I'll sort that later and going have the exhaust pipes sorted at a local firm. Some tidying up to sort under the bonnet before Transitmania, but hopefully I can pull the engine out paint and refit in time.
Anyway couldn't wait for pipes, turned the key and she fired first time which IS unusual

but all of sudden it sounded like a dragster, the ground shook, me and Nick just laughed, even though we couldn't hear a thing, nor could anyone else

Anyway we let her tick over for a while, checked for leaks and then did the usual ATF checks using all positions.
A little later, when we should have been working, the suspense was killing Nick, he just had to take her out of the workshop, we have had some loud motors here, but this took the biscuit, he cruised off around the block letting the whole estate know
She drives really well, so I'm now looking forward to getting pipes done, I'm hoping Nick will take some video tomorrow
