hell, I wish  not had any practice of late, its been too busy, but it should breath a little better, than before, seems to go a bit better too. The balanced box I brought a few years ago for building the exhaust system, I noticed today has a smaller bore to the rest of the current system, hoping it wont make too much of a restriction if I fit.

Bigger pipes the better. Let it breath.

Let Nick drive it around the block again. 8)

Im thinking the same Jono, I'll have to look for a bigger bore 2 in/out ballance box now. Just wondering if there is anything off the shelf to fit another vehicle

Or get a pair of 2 x 2" - 1 x 3" Y pieces, and weld them together, or put a 3" in 3" out box between?

Or you could make your own - just get some perforated pipe, welded between 2 2" pipes, and weld them into a box... you could put some of the wooly silencer material in as well if you wanted

I was thinking the same, but I might just check with the 2 local pipe specialists, I know one of them will be way off the mark, but I will ask, just so it makes me feel good about the other one  Couldn't find anything else other than the 24v box that Ive already got on ebay and some the exhaust websites Ive a had a quick look through, don't have a piccy to make a comparison

Windscreen surround is all done, treated it to some rust inhibitor, clean a ton of waxoil off the scuttle, I presume Ford spray it down the vents. Just got to get Nick spray around it to seal everything in and screen can be fitted :D
