And likewise you too!

Was a good weekend and glad the van did at least 1 run, performance felt good but then it would as it was the first time id driven it at any speed!!

I'll be there again next year, doubt I'll have the next van finnished in time for anything sooner other than weald again but hopefully next year it will het there under its own steam

You realy need a set of tramp bars on yours as I saw a short vid of you launching (the van insurers vid I think?) and your axle was bouncing around like a gun un, I'll be fitting a set to mine once everything else is ironed out

Those of you who i spoke to weald will know already but those that dont I'll tell you now,...........

I've only gone and bought mi sen another transit!!!

Luke came to his senses and offered me his mk5 tourneo. Its in need of some tlc and a new front end but i have already bought the panels for the jagvan and as the jagvan is ...er....well a bit rotten it makes sense to make the tourneo jagvan mk2!

The future for jagvan mk1 is this,
Iron out the engine issues like vacume leaks
Thin out the loom whilst its still in the van
Then chop the bugger in half!!

Na will just be a regular 4 wheeled van lol
It went quite well to say it wasn't set up properly, over this last week ive been sorting out some vacuum leaks that were causing high tick over etc and retro fitting the cougar idol control valve to the jag inlet, I sort of bodged it together the other day and for the first time it sat ticking over lovely! 8) (sounded beautiful witb just the down pipes but cat stil like this :( ) so now making a mating piece to put them both together.
I'll try and get a lil vid of the tickover ;)

As promised a little vid of the van ticking over, bit of tidying up to do with the wiring but shes basically there, the idle control valve is fitted as is the ect sensor now also the lambda sensors are wired in too, compared to nothing when it was at weald it runs a whole lot better :D

So just a short update on what ive been doing on the build, ive been mainly concentrating on thining out the loom and just thought I'd post a pic of what ive removrd so far, its a time consuming job for me as ive never done it before so ive been tracing each wire making sure that what im cutting is dead and no longer needed and then checking that she still actually runs  , pic just gives you an idwa of how much ive removed so far and theres still some to go :)
