also to day i had a go at making a chassis section for in front of the rear spring hanger that goes from the main chassis beam to the side of the back rear quoter

fair play it isnt very good but was a 1st try :) will probably make a better one out of the 2m in 3 strips and then seam weld them  8)

this was just out of a flat sheet as some one told me but cant rember who that you can bend metal sheets by having a other thicker one on top and useing a club hammer so had a try

this what i come up with

Hey Inti,
Thats a really good bit of sheet metal fabrication you've got going there. Clean the paint off and weld it in and it'll be better than new... :D :D :D

Keep it up Inti.

lol i would perfer to make it out of 2mm as i made my own 2 rear spring hangers! out of 2mm and daves and when you go in the gravel carpark and a stone hits the spring hangers you should hear the ting sound  8)

erm well the drivers side need doing most but seeing as i got the pass inside rear back quotor done i might do the spring hanger on that side after i get the drivers side done as i go along the rear cross member to the pass side   the spring hanger on pass side seems solid but might as well do it then it be rot free for a tho years as you know living by the sea kills transits :x

You could buy 2 driving lessons for that much money, AND have change!

If you need somewhere to store tools go down your local car boot sale and buy someone's old MFI wooden chest of drawers for about a fiver. Would probably be stronger than that £50 tin one aswell
