I know they were worth it tho had both of them fitted in under an hour
Gonna start taking a look at the mk3 Tom and see if I can get the engine mounts fitted and start removing the dash

yes mate its gonna be the cossie van now and i'm just gonna turbo this van, got most the bits now just need a downpipe but my exhaust is knackered so just gonna get a full system

Just ordered a petrol battery tray for the second battery and will be booking it in for the end of jan for rear view camera and sensors hands free kit and getting the central locking fitted to the rear and side doors. But in the mean time i have bought all the timber for lining the rear so i don't get anymore little dents in the side so i have a busy crimbo period
Will also be going to see Luke on tues (weather permitting) to drop off an engine and pick up some tourneo alloys

decided to start the ply lining on wed so got my welder ready and was quite excited because i hadn't used it yet. so lifted up the plastic covering and found this

nothing but a little bit of dirt I couldn't believe my luck. I knew the underside was pretty clean but i still wasn't expecting that. So after a couple of hours i managed to get the ply floor down, get my 18mm mdf bulkhead in and get a coat of clear varnish on it

cheers matey, makes the cab a much nicer quieter place to be as well. Once i can get the sound deadening done it'll be spot on

got the tourneo alloys on now and given the old girl a clean. I think the alloys smarten her up nicely
