Hello looks like an interesting project. I myself bought a Mk1 in Sweden a couple of weeks ago, that I plan to restore. Maybe customize a little bit. I'm from Norway too by the way, Høland. There are a picture of my car in the pic's gallery. (Kunne jo skrevet på Norsk også forresten :D

Stunning build Ketil

Those wings are probably something you don't want to try again huh :lol:
the power steering looks like an interesting option/idea.
As for the underside, bleh, when i stripped all the underseal off mine (what was left of it) i had to take an air driven neddle gun type thing to it to strip all the crap off, and underneath i was lucky if there was so mucha s some travel primer :roll: ended up cleaning it all off lying on my back underneath (fell asleep a couple of times too) then primed it with a zinc primer, cant remember if it hen painted it with something else (i think i did) before giving it about 3 layers of underseal and waxoil :p

amazing job so far, hope your back to full health soon
