a little more work today - mainly with the tailgate again  8)

But i need your honest oppinion, im having mixed feeling as weather to keep the van as original as possible or going down the slight custom van route - what i mean by that is modifications that can be reverted back to original if needed- like the steering wheel, cortina mk2 drivers seat And mainly the front air dam - Whats your opinion on the front air dam - good look - bad look :?: i rather like it and would get it painted the same colour of the van (most likely midnight blue)

p.s this is an original 70s custom part - the guy i bought it off said he bought it for his transit in the 70s 8)

it hasnt a join in the middle :) that and the fact it has a stamped ford badge on the back 8)

i thought it was an earlier badge than 67 :?: ive seen some on 65 vans (in photos) and pre production photos
and they seem to be quite common in germany on early transits

My opinion is if you are going to cutomise the van with that spoiler you have to go all out with customising everthing including airbrushing like these viewtopic.php?f=17&t=81240 Make it look 70's

if i were you i would leave it as standard as posible ( No spoiler)

i guess..i havnt fitted the spoiler yet as it requires 4 holes to be drilled to be moundes where the front bumper brackets are..im still unsure weather to use it or not.. :?

ill probably end up trial fitting it and see what it looks lik from a distance and make my mind up
