Now :!: What's the economy like :?:

And you definately need that 4.6:1 :?: rear axle :!: Then you can cruuuuise at 70 rather than screeeeeeem  :!:

Couldn't believe it when I asked you  :D
Mind you, if you were fully loaded all the time it would probably be alright as it is :D

Yep my 4.63 is quite loud :( but it's a much nicer drive on a relatively flat motorway. Hills are a problem though. How did you find yours on a motorway hill? Did you ever have to use 4th?
I hit 70mph (is indicated on GPS) at about 3250rpm which is still higher than I'd like. I've never checked the accuracy of the rev gauge though.

i did pompey hill (motorway) with the 4.63 sailed up at an indicated 90mph same as the 5.14  but at a lot lower rpm 8) 8) but i think my speedo is 5mph out according to andy g's :( :(

is yours running properly ?? :? as mine when running right  :P  really does take off sounds as tho maybe you have a slight loss there somewhere :? :? you have the later 100ps dont you :? :?

Hmmm...I'm starting to think that mine has never run right!
It's never performed anywhere near as good as yours.
Every other turbo diesel engined anything has always smoked when really pushed hard. Thats what you would expect if the fuelling is set correctly. My van never smokes when driving (execept in LOM mode!) which makes me think perhaps it's not fuelling correctly.

Sorry i've hijacked your thread  continued here.
