It was time to tackle those dents now the paint has arrived, and on the whole they were not to difficult to do.
Once i had done them i primered them with matt black paint so it would not show through on the top coat.

I then wet flat the rest of the cab with a sanding sponge, these work really well and give a better finish as they contour the body.
So a 50/50 mix with the paint and on goes another coat.

As you can see the the paint goes on really shiney. I gave the body work a real hard sanding this time to get rid of the orange peel, there is plenty of paint on now so i didnt have to worry about rubbing through, and the finish shows it was worth the effort.
The only down side to this was i did the same to the bonnet to get rid of some roller lines but when i applied the paint i got a bad reaction, bugger!

My plan was to leave it for a day, rub it back down and give it a light spray with laquer to seal it, but even the lightest of spray caused it to blister again.
Bieng a sunday i couldnt get any isolater paint so i bought some water based quick drying varnish and rollered that on for a couple of coats followed by a coat of laquer to test for reaction, and all was well, phew!
The roof and underside of the luton was next to get some paint.

I top coated the passenger side skirt l, and put on a silver coachline as well.

Inbetween that i waxoiled inside of the doors to prevent those new repair pieces from going rusty over winter.
Fitted the drivers side door handle. i fitted a new barrel and sprayed with satin black.

The finish on the paint now is so much better than i could have hoped for.
