mate what i done i think was go to a motorfactors and ask to see transit cables that they have ,if they are helpfull then this should find you your cable, unfortunatly i never got the number off of the one i fitted and it was nealry 7 years ago so i have forgot
the cable was then fitted to another firevan conversion and then sold off as the van wasnt wanted anymore

theyre good - high standard but a price to match

and i am going v4 but not for a whilst - my main aim is to get the van up and running on the road then i can change the engine later - and obvously the v4 needs attention before i but it in so it gives me a bit of time to do that

Vandalism wrote:hi pat - according to the man i bought it off he bought it in the late 70s for his van which was a 3 litre landliner but never fitted it and as for cost....not much compaired to what its worth  (ive tried to find the cost of buying one of these..but cant find one so i recon its worth a bit :?: )
i mean where can you find an original 70s custom skirt these days, especially for a transit

you ought to get a mould taken off it then you can sell a few i bet theres loads of buyers
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!
