Puk, a troublesome fairy!

Really starting to get grieved now. Puks brakes stopped him being moved...very nice locals decided last night was the night to go through all of the cupboards, the drawers, nick the stereo (ffs it was £20 from the scrappie!) and nick the carb i had to buy and couldnt fit that was going back to e bay to help pay for christmas. They even took the choke cable that was under the seat for it...

Very nicely though they left all the sleeping bags neatly piled and didnt take the heater. Cant wait til she is running again and can move her behind a neighbours gates who is in all day and can see her! This is really starting to get irritating! I know this is just a minor whinge compared to those of you who have to rebuild businesses following van break ins or damage...tonight i feel for you all again

Hi J.C.
So sorry to hear the dregs of society have invaded
your space, we all have to grin & bear it but we
should'nt have to put up with the low life scum.
But we struggle on regardless & hope they get their
just comeupance.
On to the future, we all need to improve our security
as there was not so much scum about when our Transits
were built so i have fitted a keyless entry lock on the
rear door & hinge bolts so if they undo the rear hinges
the still can't open the rear door.
I still need to fit some sort of security locks on the front
doors but have'nt found suitable ones as yet.
have fitted laminated side windows with smoke glass film
tint very light in colour but is also a security protection
as the theives have trouble getting in if they break the
glass, also you could do it to the quarter lights.
I fitted polycorbanate for my quarter lights.
I just hope they have'nt done any damage which is to me
the most important thing.
little bits can be replaced however iritating it is.
I have also fitted a screamer in side mine so as to deafen
the b*stards and alert the neighbours,
I count myself lucky i keep mine in the back garden so
slightly more secure,
Hope you get brakes sorted soon so you can move it to a

Any progress as to getting the brakes sorted, as you probably
know i fitted a 1995 master cylinder & servo unit to my Transit
mk1. They should be in plentiful supply as per the low immision
zone sent so many to the breakers yard before their time.

I'll have to dig out my cb from the attic
which is on a slide mount but don't know
where to put my arial which is on a mag
mount ?
can't wait for the weather to improve
so i can get the rest of the things done
on "eve" my camper's name that is.
