Got asbo mot'd I think the ns sill was bad, i welded a front repair panel on and I plated the rear. It failed the mot on track rod end, thumb sized hole near the rear wheel arch tub. Both main beam were low.

Nevertheless i welded it all so about 5 hours welding. Used a good s/h track rod end I had, i guessed the headlamp aim. So dil took it back and he said the side light bulb was faulty and both headlights too high. Sent dil away no mot ffs £55 quid I paid and he could be bothered to adjust the lamps, would have been quicker than entertaining a 3rd look. So i adjusted the lamps and fitted a s l bulb I had in the van. Dil took it back and the lamps were a bit out but I have dil the alarm key to adjust them in the mot man's beam setter. Lazy cnut. Don't do me any favours arse.

Anyway it has 12 months ticket. I'll sell it or grow turnips in it I don't know yet.

I missed your question

There was a time, but I don't really need a van often enough to justify the expense of running a newer one now, especially with all the emissions cr@p fitted to modern engines, and not to mention a wet belt :!:

Where I take mine for mot if the light aim is out and the adjuster is free they have always adjust them even put a bulb in if blown even had a ministry tester ajust a headlight on a HGV mot some tester are more helpful then others maybe he watered his failure rate up to show he is doing it right

Maybe, tbf though he didn't retest it officially but sent him away rather than just adjust the lights. So he's making more work for himself

Anyway I'll likely not have asbo next mot. I'm transitioning to red. :P
