I changed the gear cable support bracket today for the mk7 one. It made a big difference to the gear change, much smoother due to the cables being lined up at the turret properly :D

Going to see if I can get the ply back down on the floor tonight too and maybe some lights back in the rear too!

Did you see the white Edinburgh council van at scb that I ripped the rear panels off behind the rear bumper corners or is it away as that was a good solid mk6 that I could do with some front end inner panels :lol:

Finally fitted mk7 doors, and a genuine silver grill as mine was flaking :?

The passenger door was a straight fit, but the drivers needed the mk6 loom changed over for the windows and lock to work properly :D

You don't even need a drill for the ignition, just a few screws drivers, some patience, and the desire to get home after a boy has broken a pen lid in it! :lol:
