I had to drop the fuel tank on Saturday as the fuel starvation problem statred again after the Ace cafe meet. I put up with for a few days, but it go so bad, that the engine would cut, bad times... I couldnt do it on my driveway, as any mess would mean certain death
Thanks to CH for his tools and workshop space, otherwise Id never have got this done. Anyway, found a little filter on the fuel pick-up pipe, which was totally blocked the muck... Something left from its petrol days, so I just pulled it off, flushed the tank and filled up with freshly filtered fuel. Not a cough or splutter since, good times:D


Had a slight leak from the return the pipe at a joint after a test run, but a new chunk of pipe cured that.
