I took them in Bosnia, near Sarajevo. What about my question to lift the car? Any ideas? Changing springs from other models?

You can fit 120 rear springs and diesel engine front springs  If you don't want the front too hard, you can try some diesel minibus front springs (SWB of course)

So here are some updates on my ride!

I didn't drive too much, some drifts in the winter, lot's of problems with the MOT that I finally passed (easily! just too many idiots before that) and some stuff that I repaired. New lambda due to some engine-problems, new rear shocks, a bit of spray here and there and I worked on the sound-system ;-)

Lately I did some carpeting, which is not done yet but as usual might stay in that state.. See pics here:

Also changed the mirrors to the MK5 version. This is not plug and play, but on the drivers side was. This car had an exident more than 10 years ago where the left door was changed, obviously to a MK5 one :)
So on this door the mirror fitted perfectly, on the other door only 1 hole fitted and I had to drill 2 more and use metal-screws. The mirror on the right sight has a long arm, which I didn't recognize buying them. Is ok for me now, as I have better sight but might become a problem on my next MOT.. Pins for the screw holes are missing, but I figured out that the 0,05€ fits perfectly :D

As the Transit got never crash-tested (AFAIK) I thought it would be a good idea to make up for it. The Transit is now destroyed but kept me and a friend completely save. 2 cars crashed into my back, without braking at a speed of maybe 160 km/h while I was doing 110 km/h. Engine running, car rolling, steering, breaking. Costs for repair maybe 8000€... :( Will buy a Volvo now. Pics comming soon.

But as I don't want a van right now I'd go for the Volvo. The Transit was very expensive in total.. Much cheaper than a VW or Mercedes van though. And nicer :) I loved this old pinto-engine! It just feels like a car, not like a peace of rolling plastik..
