Thanks RW. While covered in muck on Sunday, I also managed to change the ball joint, wheel bearing, track rod end and brake pads on the rhs. Will get to the other side later in the week. Want it done so I can get the tracking done this week.

Finally got a few hours free this afternoon and now have new ball joints, track rod ends, bearings and brake pads on both sides. Seems to have got rid of the little solitary clonk/groan when turning left. Might have been ball joint maybe? Booked in for tracking Monday. You don't want pics of shiny steering bits do you? :?
