Not sure about the carpet on the cabinet yet. Might keep it blue, but might re-cover the doors in something else like vinyl. We'll see what it looks like when I've got the sink and hobs in, and then done something with the work surface (I'm thinking of going to a black kitchen work top so it's heat resistant etc).

Not much of an update. Picked up a worktop today. Black/silver glittery type.
Cut to shape, glued the side strips on etc.
Need to neaten the edges up yet, but will do that once I've sourced a sink and hob set, and cut the holes in it for them etc.

Not too much to add yet. But really need to crack on with this as I am taking it to some festivals next year wheel require it to be a proper 'live-in vehicle' to be granted access to the site.

Finished off covering the bed, and cut a memory foam mattress topper to size. Need to get it covered now.

Brilliant work mate! Out of Intrest I just done my carpet on my floor today and there is a few ripples in it how did you fit yours to all your bits? Do you staple it or glue it? Before or after fitting part?

Spray glue mate.

The carpet is really cheap from Carpet right. It's the Champion stuff, and about £2 per meter. They do a tin of spray glue for just under a tenner.
The entire van has still cost me under £100 in carpet and glue.

Ripples can be a nightmare. I had a few in the roof and side panels. Carefully cut through it with a sharp blade, pull carpet back, and spray glue behind it, then press it back down.
A bit like when you are getting air bubbles out of MX graphics etc.

Well I'm getting all acoustic carpet for free from a events production company over the road from my work. I bought some hycote spray glue today and used it and seamed the best bet def!

Yeah that makes sence it's sorta like an air bubble eh

Cracking van mate.
Can I ask how you fitted the rear seats please?

Are they bolted / welded to the van (metal) floor as well as the wooden board or just into the board?

Want to put a double seat in the back of mine at some point...

First of all just want to say what a cracking job you have done so far

I'll be getting my second transit in about 10 weeks and plan on doing a few mods inside,not a full on conversion with sink and that,just make the inside nice and add 2 or 3 rear seats (undecided yet) can i ask what rear seats you have i like the way they fold down and will fit in with what i want to do with my van.
