Bit of a oops moment yesterday

Not a lot of progress recently, I had planned to get loads done during the summer holidays but the body shop had it for over 6 weeks!

New front bumper, grill and bumper reinforcer after my little shunt

Then had a pot of paint split in the back, almost 10 litres of magnolia emulsion

Some led reverse, side light and side repeater bulbs fitted

Grab handle fitted to the A pillar, it's been sat in the garage for about a year

Bought myself a Hykee lock for Xmas

Mrs was at work today and youngest was out all morning at her dance class so I emptied the van out and put some non slip flooring down

Altro flooring thats normally used in hospitals. Neighbour works for a maintenance company and he got me an "off cut" that surprisingly was just long enough for the van

All the boxes are clipped on top of each over with heaviest at the bottom so I'm hoping that alone will hold them in place. Failing that I'll attach a bungee cord across the front

I thought about making some racking like that but with doors on to keep my stuff from falling over Looking good though. N

I'll see how it goes, if they all fall over I'll try a bungee, if that doesn't work I'll make some doors. Been out in it today and everything stayed where I put it.

Well it's been a week and none of my stuff has fallen over so I reckon that's a success

Fitted some mk3 Mondeo twin horns this week as the original got drowned when the oil feed pipe burst

Sweet, with the boxes interlocking helps keep them in place, I don't have that luxury with paint cans I hate planning and building racking as I find it never quite works for me so I end up changing it N

That's the issue I had with the racking in my mk5 I just made it but with no real thought of what I needed to put on it so just eneded up with stuff everywhere but this time I've had a plan, we'll sort of had a plan

Its the other way round for me, the racking in my escort van was great and worked perfectly for me and I have never been able to make racking the same since maybe I should draw a plan up and go from there, my false floor works well though and keeps the ladders out the way N

That's what I did, measured the room I had to work with and then worked out what I need to keep in the van. Took me a few attempts to kind of get the right plan
