Cigarette lighters can be used as sockets to power those handy mini fridges and coolers that run off 12volt dc. I have 1 in the back of my van and am planning to do some similar work as you have done, trimming and making some units out of m.d.f. Did you fit in any speakers from the radio in the back?

Like the bit about 5 different languages! I find being unseen in the back of an ambulance next to the van being looked at and knocking on the window very loudly frightens the sh*t out of potential thieves, though not an option for many I admit!
