what i ment by sh*t is its reving to high in 5th gear at 70 feels like it needs another gear plus first gear is usless im in it for all of a bout 10 secs if that

some one posted a link on my thread about a jag conversion about wisbech enginneering i have spoken to them and they know what they talk about give them a call they may help with gearbox and diff config to get best of both or at least a happy medium maybe

sorry having a few beers due to my work van engine gone bang again ( second time this year ) so its back at its first home local tranny dealer when its off the road no night call outs for me :evil:

i have a choice of 3.44:1 no good :(
or 5.14:1 alright for north weald, rang west wales rally spares today for price of a 4.1 :shock:
£499. new. wont be having one of them :x need to find maybe a 3.9 or 3.7 :)
did'nt run it with 5.1 but i will try before the 11th,or one of the above (if i can find one) :wink:

5.1 will be good for the drag strip ........................... if its dry :lol:

for mine im guessing a bit but i think a 3.7 or 3.8 will be ideal :D

well after running with the 3:44s and crossing the finish line in third gear at north weald i have to return wifeys lsd to its rightful place so i am going to weld up a standard diff (just for racing) and run the very rusty 5:1 just to see how much quicker (if any) it would be. :D
