a couple of suggestions for serious seat cleaning try one of those rental carpet cleaners not only your seats but carpets door liners in fact just about anything that dosent move another trick i have used a couple of times is take the seat out (again) stand it in the yard or street hose it down then scrub with washing up liqiud then hose down again then scrub with clothes washing detergent depending on how bad/ingrained the dirt is you will possibly have to repeat the scrubbing bits finally end with a good rinse through then the fun bit you will have to leave it to dry then oil all the mecanisim sliders etc and bolt back in if you need to use it before the seat is fully dry leave the windows open a touch to stop condensation build up and cover with blankets or towels so you dont get a wet bum when sitting on it
   got a bit befuddled there the marks are on the roof so the carpet shampooer should help but taking the seat out wont or have i added this to totally the wrong thread
ttfn confused and befuddled aka glenn

Cheers for the comments, things have been a progressing a little slower than hoped due bad weather and then just to top it off we got perfect weather today and I've gone and broken my drill  not impressed at all - going to be an early trip to B&Q in the hope they will sort it out pronto.

At least all my panels are good to go when I get it fixed :)

as an aside does anyone know whether ford use imperial or metric threads? I'm trying to bolt in my battery tray but it need another couple of bolts - those that go through into the front wheel arch.

Well, battery is in - I can finally stop being terrified of it in my room!

Still not finished the panelling - bit surprised by B&Qs response with the drill - swapped it over no fuss!

however since getting back I've snapped 3 drill bits and run out of ones suitable for pilot holes now which is typical as I only needed to do 4 more  dammit!

woo, panelling is done, insulation is done, sound is done, battery charging is done, I'm on a roll.

Off to get a fuse and distribution box first thing tomorrow then I can get my lights wired in properly :)

Then after the sudden rethink two days ago, I'm about to start hacking up bits of wood again :)

Nice work :D

Any reason you put the speakers on the walls rather than just on the back doors?

I assume because of the bed?

Definitely looking good :D

MrMPuk - you can right click on the word "image" and then click "view image" to see it. Then just go through the gallery :)

picture should work now :)

I put speakers on the walls rather than doors else they'd be playing into a small box when the doors were closed which seemed a bit daft!
