What can I say - not a lot because I'm dribbling so much.

When I close my eyes at night these are the kinda pictures I have of my MK1 CI.

I can't wait to see more photos - she is looking absolutely top 8)

Well done that man :D

You are doing a good job there, what you have to work with is not too bad I have to say.

Can't really see in the pics but the two cab seats are in perfect condition, along with the rubber floor mat, but I am going to change the curtains, camper bed/seat covers and floor covering...

The small child isn't mine ! ! These were piccies taken by the previous owner !

Also - should there have been a table between the two sofa seats when it was new?

My CI had a fold up table (legs underneath sort of thing) that lived in a pocket behind the seats on the drivers side, pull back the seats and have a look

Thanks rottie_007, I'll have a look next time.

For now though, a few pictures of progress so far...

Almost there now. It's booked in for paint in 2 weeks and there's just some small brackets to make up and replacement battery tray. The end is in sight :D

Currently being painted.

Even after careful measuring, the paint shop had to deflate all 4 tyres to get it to fit inside their paint bay ! ! !

Can't wait to see it wearing it's fresh new suit of white paint.

I'm just having the cab done though. Think the rear camper bit will polish up OK...

Nice job, the engine mounts are like a mk2, is that a later idea?, as opposed to an engine crossmember.
i started with nothing, still have most of it left

Not too sure as I haven't seen any apart from my own! Madmark asked for a few piccies.

Apparently they are different to the older style ones.

Just heard from the spray shop that the cab respray has been finished 8)

I'll post some piccies up when I see it on Monday evening. Looking forward to seeing it. Fresh paint means that we're on the home straight now :D
